IV simpósio de geriatria dos lusíadas

Costa, será um dos participantes no IV Simpósio de Geriatria – “A olhar para o Futuro”, organizado pelo Lusíadas Knowledge Center, a realizar na Aula Magna do Hospital Militar do Porto, no próximo dia 12 de fevereiro pelas 17h.

O Evento decorrerá em formato online e, se as condições epidemiológicas o permitirem, também presencial.

Evento “Tratar o Cancro por Tu”

[:pt]O  Instituto de Patologia e Imunologia Molecular da Universidade do Porto – IPATIMUP, vai promover um ciclo de sessões sobre a literacia de cancro designado por “Tratar o Cancro por Tu” em diversas cidades do país.

Numa altura em que um em cada cinco doentes oncológicos viu o seu tratamento ser atrasado por causa da pandemia e cerca de 100 milhões de rastreios foram cancelados em toda a Europa, o Ipatimup avança com um ciclo de sessões, cujo objectivo passa por discutir as terapias mais recentes no combate ao cancro, simplificar conceitos, alertar para a necessidade do diagnóstico precoce e colocar os doentes no centro da discussão.

A sessão do próximo dia 3 de Fevereiro, dedicada ao cancro da mama, irá decorrer no Auditório do Centro de Juventude de Braga, às 18h30 e contará com a presença de Manuel Sobrinho Simões, director do Ipatimup, Joana Paredes, investigadora e Cristiana Lopes e Paulo S. Costa (Coordenador Clínico da Júlio Teixeira S.A. e Diretor do Serviço de Radioterapia do Hospital de Braga EPE), como especialistas convidados.

 [:en]The Institute of Molecular Pathology and Immunology of the University of Porto – IPATIMUP, will promote a cycle of sessions on cancer literacy called “Treat Cancer for You” in several cities across the country.
